Take a rest from all your “labors” and enjoy the last long weekend of summer with friends and family.  Picnics galore will be happening all over, so let’s taste a bunch of those friendly “deck wines”, and have a real good time!

Villa Arianna Frascati Frascati 2009 –Talk about putting your kid’s artwork on the fridge, the label for this was created by the niece of the Sales Director!  A blending of two types of the Malvasia grape and others showing delightful sweet melon, citrus and honeydew rind – with a dry finish.  Go on; help yourself to some more of that pasta salad!

Regular Price $11.99             Tasting Price $9.49

Chateau de la Tuilerie 2009 –Romantic and flowery tickling your nose with soft perfume, luscious cantaloupe, oranges, mango and grapefruit. Very pleasant, like warm summer breezes from the beach.  Born in the south of France from Grenache Blanc (80%) and Viognier.

Regular Price $14.99          Tasting Price $11.99

Bodegas Borsao Rosé 2009 – A tasty and structured quaffer from Spain so full of watermelon flavors; you won’t need the one for eatin’!  Add raspberries and a spicy orange peel cha-cha, and let the games begin!  Quantities are limited.

Regular Price $8.99             Tasting Price $6.99

ReNoto by Feudo Maccari 2006 – Smell those burgers sizzling on the grill!  Did you remember the jack cheese?  Yep, this one is for grill food.  A blend of Nero d’Avola and Syrah that will pair well with pizza too.  Spiced cherries, black raspberries, black plum and a light touch of tannins at the end.

Regular Price $12.99           Tasting Price $10.49

Tentacion Monastrell 2008 – A milk chocolate covered cherry with a cup of coffee, bright dark berries; just oodles of fruit!  A lot of wine, for just an itty bitty bit of cash – perfect for the take one to the party and two for me!

Regular Price $8.99               Tasting Price $6.99
