Tasting Schedule

Cranberry Liquors holds in-store tastings throughout the year.  This schedule is written on an annual basis due the to the way the license is issued.  For more information on any given tasting please feel free to contact us.

Friday tastings will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Saturday tastings will be held from 12 noon until 5 p.m.

This Weeks Tasting

Ronco dei Pini Pinot Grigio 2008- Were you expecting a shy Italian Miss batting her eyelashes and blushing?  Not this time!  Firm structure that supports delicious melon, lime, more citrusy flavors and a touch of the sea.  Just meant for light seafood and pasta dishes.

Groth Chardonnay 2007- This is a crabby Chardonnay!  No, it’s not grumpy; it will pair well with crab.  Crispy green apples, oranges, and minerals blend together with the toast and vanilla creaminess – nicely balanced for your crustaceans (they are slippery you know!).

Coto de Hayas Grenache/Syrah 2008 – All the usual suspects are here in this value from the Campo de Borja area of Spain.  Juicy plums, black pepper and an earthy note.  Great with a bag of burgers and dogs on movie night.

Oberon Merlot 2006 – A little bird told Rob Mondavi to take very ripe Napa Merlot and blend it with smidges of Cabernet and Cabernet Franc for a sturdy wine showing blueberry, cherry bark and plum that is very lush with soft tannins. Do you think it would pair well with the wine?

Domaine Geoffrenet-Morval Chateaumeillant 2007 – An elegant wine crafted from Pinot Noir and Gamay. Velvety strawberries and cherries dance with enormous spice flavors and Old World earthiness.  Truly lovely and unique to enjoy with salmon, duck or medium cheeses.
